Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.
A Good Faith Estimate shows the expected costs of items and services related to your healthcare for individuals who do not have insurance or who choose not to use insurance.
Your estimate will be based on the information known at the time and may not include every possible cost related to your care.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.
